PROJECT DESCRIPTION
North Suburban Tilers was tasked with building a bathroom that would be completely leak-proof under any circumstances. To achieve this, we installed a durable stainless steel shower base, and as an added precaution, we constructed a waterproofed hob beneath it to serve as a secondary barrier in case of any unforeseen leaks.
To address potential issues with the old copper pipes, we built a new frame in front of the existing solid brick wall and installed 10mm cement sheeting. This allowed us to safely remove the outdated pipes and create a more reliable plumbing system. For maximum protection, we applied three coats of waterproofing throughout the bathroom, ensuring no water could ever escape the space.
The client was thrilled with our meticulous attention to detail and the extra measures we took to guarantee a leak-free bathroom. Impressed by the quality of our work, they immediately entrusted us with retiling their entire home—a massive 150-square-meter project.
